My family and I are very sad to hear about Uncle Vernon. It has been so long since we have seen each other. I was 4 years old when we moved to Florida. Every time I came through Azuza, I was a OTR truck driver then, I would call but we could never get together and I am sorry for that. Please know that Uncle Vernon is in a far better place now and is with his mon, dad, brothers

This has been a very sad time for everyone, with the passing of Uncle Al then 5 days later Aunt Bernice, and now with Uncle Vernon. Uncle Vernon is now at Peace and in heaven with his Mom, Dad, Brothers and Aunt Sissy (his wife), all of whom he hasn't seen in such a very long, long time. I remember going on a few vacations throughout my childhood to visit you in California and have some wonderful memories and pictures of those vacations. And while it’s been many years ago, I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to spend some time with everyone over a Memorial weekend while on business in California 20+ years ago.

I know it has been at least 40 years since I saw you all but I remember I always enjoyed your parents and I remember your Dad's wonderful sense of humor. I met Vern only once when I was 15 yrs old. He made enough of an impression on me to remember him all these years. May your soul take you places you only dreamed about Vern.
