Ethel Jaunita Rusche was born June 7, 1925 in Calhoun, Missouri.
She was one of six children born to Opal and Auburn Lawler.
Ethel grew up on a farm in Missouri where she attended school and worked everyday after school to help her family.
When Ethel was 17 she married Deward Barber and they moved to California. She had three children, Danny, Joyce, and Richard. She was a stay at home mom for many years before she went to work as a waitress.
Ethel and Deward were divorced in 1958. In 1963 she married Jerry Rusche, where they lived in El Monte, California and she continued working as a waitress. Ethel went back to school for real estate. During their marriage they traveled to many placed in the United States and went camping, hunting and fishing. Jerry & Ethel were divorced in 1982. She stayed single for the rest of her life.
Ethel dated Ken Morrison for several years until he passed away. Their time together was short but they had a great time together.
Ethel continued to live in El Monte in the same house for 52 years.
Ethel is preceded in death by her 3 children, Danny Barber, Joyce Nelson & Richard Barber.
Ethel is survived by her 2 brothers, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
Ethel was an amazingly strong woman with an abundance of love for her family and friends.

She will live in our hearts forever.
