Robert "Bob" Burton Zusman, 91, passed away July 18, 2017 in Palm Desert, CA, just 9 months after his late wife of 67 years, Gloria.

Born on May 17, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA, Bob attended Penn State, and then entered officer training in the US Naval Academy (He would retire from the US Naval Reserves as a Lieutenant in 1960). In 1946, he moved to Los Angeles with Mother Ann (Pascal), Father Charles, and Brother Howard. He enrolled in UCLA, where he coached freshman Water Polo and met freshman Gloria Gould. Bob graduated from UCLA in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and married Gloria ("Glory") in 1949.

Bob went into the Citrus Distribution business with his father-in-law Harry Gould and brother-in-law Paul from 1949 to 1955. He became interested in the securities business after some successful investing, and decided to leave the orange market for the stock market. His career as a Stock Broker spanned over 60 years.

Bob was a loving and devoted family man, dedicated to his immediate and extended family, and especially to his Glory. He was respected for his integrity, honesty and intelligence, both at home and in the office. He was an avid Bruin fan, tennis player, and a gifted artist; his favorite avocation was as Caretaker of his family.

Bob is survived by his daughters Lynn Porter (Glenn) and Claudia Golden Glass (Wally); grandchildren Molly Northrop (Matthew), Hunter Golden (Sydney), Nicholas Golden, and great granddaughters Shae and Layne Northrop. Our Bob remains forever and always in our hearts.
