Orville R. "Bing" Bingley, 89 of Palm Desert, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family. He is survived by his partner of 63 years, Bud Johnson, his nephew, Dan Maguire, and his loving family. Known for his "Hoosier Humor" and gentle smile, Bing worked for 30 years as a public relations executive in the oil service industry. An avid runner, Bing completed 36 full marathons, including the Athens Marathon twice. His greatest joy was playing Santa Claus for the local community.

Services will be held at Forest Lawn Cathedral City on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
