Michael Angel Valenzuela, 76, born on August 16, 1940, in El Paso, Texas, passed away March 29, 2017. He resided in Cypress, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California. Michael is the son of Santiago and Esther Valenzuela. Michael has two sisters Cecilia Olguin and Alice Chavez.

Michael served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1965. Michael attended Cal State University LA where he received his Bachelors Degree in Science majoring in Business Administration. He worked as an accountant for nearly 49 years. It was at that time that he met the love of his life Dolores. Michael and Dolores were married 49 years. Together they raised two daughters, Annette Loya and Michelle Sanchez. He adored his daughters as well as his four grandchildren Eddy Sanchez, Zachary Sanchez, Sarah Sanchez, and Sophia Sanchez. Michael loved and respected his two son-in-laws Edward Sanchez and Gary Pena. How fortunate our family is to hold his sweet spirit in our hearts.

Michael loved outdoor activities which included; fishing, hiking, deer hunting, and swimming. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and friends. Michael loved playing the piano, and guitar. He was also a member of the Cypress College Tennis Team.

For his kind smile, huge heart, listening ears, his words of encouragement and guidance he will always remain our family's biggest treasure. He will be missed dearly. Forever in our hearts. We love you!
