Jesus Madrigal Gutierrez passed away peacefully at his home, after a short illness.

Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Maria Mendez Gutierrez. Survived by: Sal and Lupita Gutierrez of Indio, Ventura and Alma Gutierrez of Coachella, Judyann and Richard Moreno of La Quinta, Joe Gutierrez of Coachella, George and Gloria Gutierrez of Indio, Jenny and Doug Jackson of Huntington Beach, Linda and Danny Pizan of Coachella, Marie and Roman Diaz of Coachella, adopted son Yair Salas Gutierrez of Coachella, 26 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Jesus was involved in ground work for Progresso de Deserto. He helped organize soccer leagues in the Coachella Valley. Worked as a custodian at Westside School until he retired and spent many wonderful years at Coachella Senior Center with his friends.
