Glen passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on June 4, 2018. He was born July 5, 1934 in Pangburn, Arkansas. The son of gospel music writers Luther G. and Rena Presley, Glen was brought up to sing and love gospel music. After eighty years, it was still the thing that "fired him up for the day". He was elected president of the Arkansas State Singing Convention at the age of 17. He also graduated from Stamps-Baxter School of Music in Dallas, Texas that year and taught his first singing school. He graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, Arkansas in 1957 with a degree in music.

He continued his teaching career in music at the Camdenton Missouri Public Schools where his choirs were awarded numerous first place ratings and invited to sing at the World's Fair in 1966. He went on to serve as the Music, Education and Youth Director of Grace Methodist Church in Springfield, Missouri.
During the next phase of his professional life, he and his family moved to Kansas City and then to suburban Chicago where he was Vice President at Fidelity Union Life Insurance Company. Later he would help develop and administer training programs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, which led him to establishing his own consulting company. His mission statement was "Dedicated to the process of developing people to fulfill the challenging role of leadership in business, church and the community", which he endeavored to do for the next 30 years. He liked to tell you that he consulted for Hyatt International Hotels for 30 years with only a handshake as a contract.

Glen and Carleen moved to the Coachella Valley after spending 30 years in the Chicago area. Glen loved awakening to 360 days of sunshine. Once retired, Glen volunteered his time and skills to church work and the Global Leadership Summit held annually here in the desert, which helps develop men and women for roles in Christian leadership. He was an active leader at the Southwest Church for the last three years. His greatest joy was Sunday morning with the Primetimers, a class for seniors, which he and his wife coordinated.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Carleen; 3 children, Pat Presley (Kristin), Carol Steere (Bob), and Christi Regnery (Bill); 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of Glen's life will be held on Saturday, July 7th at 2:00 pm at:

Southwest Church – Auditorium 2
44-175 Washington St.
Indian Wells, CA 92201 (corner of Washington and Fred Waring Drive).
