Dotte Blanche Davis, 95, of Indian Wells, CA passed away peacefully in the home she loved with family by her side on July 4, 2018.

Born on October 1, 1922 in Barberton, Ohio to Patrick Cassidy and Edith Shook. In her early 20s Dotte moved to California where she became a self-made, successful woman in her own right. In the mid-seventies, she moved to Maui, Hawaii with the love of her life, her husband Wray Davis, where she took the real estate industry by storm and was the top real estate sales person on the Island for many years. After 25 blissful years in paradise, Dotte and Wray then moved back to the mainland in 1992 to live out their years in Indian Wells, CA.

Dotte was a dynamic, elegant woman who lived an incredible life. In her later years she loved to share stories of her many adventures in her home at cocktail hour overlooking the beautiful desert golf course and toasting to her husband Wray who preceded her to the better place.

Also preceding Dotte in death are her sister Vicki, her daughter Sheri and her grandson Kent.
Dotte is survived by her daughter Paula, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dotte had no interest in a funeral. She requested her friends and family to raise a glass in her honor and share a story of her life.

Dotte B. Davis, 95, born on October 1, 1922, in Barberton, Ohio, passed away July 4, 2018. She resided in Indian Wells, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, California.
