Barbara Ann Parrett, 77, born on May 2, 1940, in San Francisco, California, passed away April 5, 2018. She resided in La Quinta, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, California. . She enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling to Hawaii and with her friends playing bridge. She was a gifted crafter and loved to knit, most of which she gifted to her family and friends. Barbara was always thinking of other people in her crafting projects. Her and Channing supported the Performing Art Theater in Palm Desert and were annual ticket holders. She also supported the The Living Desert Animal park and also volunteered in the gift shop there. Her and Chan also sponsored an animal for the children's Merry Go Round at the Living Desert. Her kind, loving and gentle soul will be missed by many family and friends.
