Albert Vardanian was born in Pasadena to immigrant Armenian parents. He lived a full life and passed away from heart failure at the age of 91 at his residence in Thousand Oaks. He is survived by his two loving daughters Michelle Vardanian and Linda Hagelis and son-in-law Bill Hagelis.
He graduated from Roosevelt High School with honors. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers stationed in Germany during the Korean War in 1952.
Albert met his beautiful wife, the love of his life, Angelina and they were married on April 23, 1955. They shared and enjoyed a wonderful life filled with love and happiness for 62 years until her passing in April 2017.
A proud Trojan, he earned a Civil Engineering Degree and a Master's Degree from USC. For 21 years Albert was a Civil Engineer at LAX where he managed construction of the 2nd level roadway, International Bradley Terminal and other major projects which were completed for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
