Kim, I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Andy.He was the best color artist in the world, a terrific scholar, and a gentleman of incredible character. I am sorry he has gone from you physically, but his greatness shall endure through time. May the Lord sweeten his memory unto you.

I was so sorry to hear of Andrew's passing when I took my Mom to the Gem Show in May (it turned out to be her last). My parents (Shirley and Bill) and I have been buying jewelry from Andrew for close to 25 years. All of us so enjoyed speaking with Andrew and looking at his new creations. We would talk about our kids and how everything was going in life. He would have a sparkle in his

I and my wife would visit Andrew's booth at the Houston gem show. He was on of the most creative and artistic jewlers I ever met. More, I always enjoyed just visiting with him. He was a unique and special person. The world is truly diminished by his passing. I till wear a man's rign he created tha was given to me by my wife. Unlike most vendors from whom I have purchased things over the decades. when people comment

I used to have a booth at the gem shows for several years which is how I came to know Andrew. I used to be set up across from him in Washington dc at the Sheraton and this was every show for several years. I always wanted to see what new and brilliant creations he had brought and dreamed that one day I would have one of my very own. In all of my years in this business I could

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Andrew was my favorite jeweler ever!
I have bought several pieces from him over the past 25 years. He always had a story to tell about his pieces. He was a great conversationalist and we had some very good conversations over the years.

You probably don't remember but 20 years ago you designed my wedding ring with green and white diamonds and supplied a green diamond for my husband's ring. Unfortunately my

It is so sad to learn of the passing of Andrew. When we celebrated our Tenth Wedding Anniversary in 1991, he made a beautiful re-creation of Princess Diana's wedding ring for us! It is a beautiful 10 carat Ceylon Sapphire surrounded by 2 carats of diamonds in 18kt gold. The workmanship is so beautiful and he was so happy to make it for us! Now, we will have even more beautiful memories of Andrew and our talks with him whenever

Since the first time I set eyes on "The Captain",as he was dressed,we struck a great working relationship. In the early days of the paraiba tourmaline discovery to the last time i saw him at Tucson, his stories ,his inventory, and his presence were always captivating and alluring.I enjoyed doing business with him and his staff and hope they continue to exhibit at the various shows. He was a gentleman and had fine taste in gems and in those incredible craftsmen who he contracted to do his design work.I will miss seeing him ,but will not forget him.......Stephen Leigh....Stephen Leigh Jewelers,Quincy,Ma.
